NASCAR announced that there will be no side-by-side race action during commericals like ABC does for the IRL Races.

Personally, I think that the side-by-side would be a good idea, so a hard core NASCAR fan like myself wouldn’t miss a lap of action. I think its more of a marketing ploy by NASCAR itself. They say it has no beneift to the sponsors or the fans. It is probably since if people don’t miss any part of the race, there is no reason for people to pay for the online Track Pass.
