Flahavin.com wishes you a wonderful Christmas!!! Really, I wanted to title this entry “Merry Fucking Christmas”, but though that was a little too far.

A couple of comments though about the Christmas season…

1. Why not celebrate Christmas as it should be. Its a time to celebrate Jesus Christ, and time with your loved ones. It shouldn’t revolve around shopping or the latest toy you can’t get your hands on. Personally,I would like to have a Christmas without materialism. I think its more than a gift enough to be with my loving family and friends. Now, christmas with little kids is a different story. But at this point in time, come on!!! Instead of spending money on each other on crap no one needs, why not just enjoy what you already have, the loved ones that care enough to buy you shit???

2. Enough with the plastic Shit and unclassy decorating. I don’t have any problems with Christmas decorations, but keep it classy, and don’t go overboard. First, your not trying to flag down a jet, cause some of the yards I’ve seen are enough lights for a jet up 10,000 ft in the air. Second, The nativity scenes are disrespectfully. Come on, If your going to put up a nativity scene, make it look classy, not some cheap ass plastic shit. Also, it’s not very respectful to put the Homer Simpson in a Santa outfit next to it. Also, I don’t really think that a stolen plastic baby Jesus is National News. Don’t we have bigger concerns or stories to cover for CNN, FOX News, and MSNBC???

3. Enough with the damn Christmas Music. It’s way overdone. Don’t make it the only music you hear in any given place, or on a single radio station. Also, we don’t need to have an entire month of it. Just because its the day after Thanksgiving, or now it seems like the day after Halloween, doesn’t mean its “Christmas time.”
