I called my parents the other day, and they had no idea the clocks were changing this weekend! Unless you don’t live by outlook calender or have a daily agenda, you might want to make sure your computer and other time keeping electronics will change the clocks this weekend for Day Light Savings, instead of April. Make sure to patch your windows or dos box (to properly patch is to install Linux), apply a linux fix, fix that mac, throw out that old VCR, and be ready to adjust those non-date aware clocks. Would it be appropiate to change your smote detector battery now, or should we do it in April?? Now that there is an extra month between the spring ahead and fall back, will the battery in that smoke detector make it???

Until the government changes DST again we need to worry about a date bug until 2038 when the unix clock runs out on its timer on 1-19-2038, assuming 32-bit computing still exists. This is where the number of second since the start of time according to the Unix World, Jan 1, 1970 will read 2 to the 32nd power.
