The numbers are wrapping up in Iowa, and the road of the campaign is already taking its turn. The people of Iowa came out in numbers to pave the first mile of the winding road to the White House. The Democrats showed their support for Barrack Obama, and the Evangelical Christans came out to show their support for Mike Huckabee.

As of this moment, while the numbers are at 96% in the Blue side, and 85% on the Red side, we already have 2 drop outs on the 3-way-battle from the Democrats, and a Republican race up in the air. Joe Biden lost his fight in Iowa, and against Red State Update. He wasn’t welcome to Iowa, and sure as hell still isn’t welcome to Murfreesburo, TN. Chris Dodd is also out of the race. This is now a basic three-way race in Iowa with 3 Democrats with the same basic agenda. Kucinich kept a low profile, didn’t get any of the votes because of the strange system the Democratic Primary uses in Iowa. It was just announced that Gravel is now out on MSNBC, just like that rock is still on the bottom of that lake.

While Huckabee has a surging lead in Iowa, the Republican race is still up in the air. The only real losers of the Republican race are Giuliani, Hunter, and Mitt Romney. Rudy went into Iowa losing, and he lost. He thinks he will bank on the Super Tuesday States. Only time will tell, but I doubt he has a chance. Today he was crazy enough to have Dick Cheney or someone like Dick Cheney as his VP. Hunter just failed, and I would expect him to join Dodd and Biden soon. While I write this the reported precincts in is still only 86% on the Republican side. Romney is a true loser, since he put 20x the bet on the table as Huckabee did, and clearly got beat by Huckabee. He might have to visit the used car lot and scam some car buyers to get back some of that lost bet.

Even though Huckabee clearly won Iowa, it might not go too far. The jesus freaks came out on the republican side. After Wyoming(which is kind of ignored) the race moves to New Hampshire. I don’t think the momentum Huckabee just got is going to play well in the Live Free or Die state. Also, since Huckabee doesn’t have the funding like other candidates, he doesn’t have the resources to protect that momentum.

Thompson didn’t win or lose. He is the C student that gets by, and proves C students(again) can succeed. He simply showed up, did the bare minimum, wasn’t enthused and he pulled third. Ron Paul’s supporters have proved he is a true contender in this race. With Romney and Huckabee taking Iowa because of the religious right, this leaves the real moderates in a three way race with Thompson, McCain, and Paul. McCain stayed in New Hampshire, and he still got a decent turn out in Iowa.

Next stop, Wyoming, which is by request only(doesn’t seem like anyone cares), and then the Live Free or Die Hard state of New Hampshire. Will Huckabee pull off another win without the Christian base? Will McCain’s evening in New Hampshire during the Iowa Election pay off? Will the motto “Live Free or Die” keep Ron Paul in the competition? Since Hillary said she won’t lose, does she bring out the nukes against Obama? Will Bill get some action from the Interns in Iowa for Hillary’s campaign? Does Immigration become more of an issue in the coming states? Will Fox News accept the fact Ron Paul is part of this race? Does John Edwards pull a Howard Dean and fuck it up? Can Obama or Hillary even win in a state south of a Mason-Dixon line with the good ole’ boys? Does anyone even have any money left to run a campaign other than Ron Paul with his 20million for Q4 2007?

Will the Write in Flahavin campaign make an impact?(Hell No!) Did the Republicans just quit counting the votes in Iowa (still at 86% of votes in)? Is Hillary Clinton still a fucking bitch?(yes she is.) Does Obama still look funny with the large ears?(Yes.) Is Romney still a sneaky piece of shit used car sales man?(Yes he is.) Will Sean Hannity and Fox News claim the Ron Paul supporters fixed the election for the 10%? Does Rudy stand a chance? Will Fred still drop out because he doesn’t feel like running for President? Can Elizabeth Kucinich still be First Lady?(I Sure Hope So) Is Bloomberg going to enter the race? What about Jackie ‘08 from Red State Update? Is Howard Dean still going to make another “Whoooooo” on behalf the party and scare people? Will Colbert re-enter the race on Monday and shake things up?

This calls for a victory lap and some serious burn outs in the #11 Flahavin.com/Ron Paul 2008 Toyota Tundra!!!

As the presidential primary elections heat up, and more threatening candidates enter the playing field, I am here by dropping out of the 2008 Presidential Primaries. Yes, I am not even legally qualified to be the President because of the minimum age requirement, but that is far from the reason.

With the addition of Stephen Colbert to the campaign, which is an unbeatable force, both on the Republican or Democratic side, this is a war I do not want to enter without a proper exit plan. In addition, due to existing overwhelming support for Ron Paul, which I am endorsing for President, I do not want to be a factor to prevent a true American Patriot from winning the Republican Primaries, or to become the president.

I still am running for any other office both local and federal that may be up for grabs through the end of 2007 and through Election Day in November 2008. Regardless of the Primary Election results, Ron Paul will be the candidate of choice, either as the Republican Presidential candidate, an Independent, or a massive Internet write-in effort.

Volunteers are needed to get this campaign underway! We need signs, campaign slogans, 527 ads, tv and radio commercials, print ads, viral communication through thefacebook and MySpace, and good word of mouth. I also need a campaign staff, so sign up now. Have an internship requirement for school, here is your chance!!! The 2006 campaign went off with a blast, and it needs to be taken up a few levels for the upcoming elections. Once we get some help, official fundraising for the campaign will be available.

Also, if you don’t like your current officials in local government, lets do something about it. Its early enough that we can be an official candidate. on the ballot! With your help, we can get the necessary signatures on a petition, and fill out the paperwork to be official.
